Ablekuma North MP, MCE strengthen collaboration for constituency development

The collaborative leadership approach of the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North, Ewurabena Aubynn, and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Adamu Musah Kalamu, continues to receive widespread praise from residents who say the strong partnership between the two leaders is positively impacting development within the constituency.

Residents and community stakeholders have commended the growing cooperation between the political and administrative leadership of the municipality, noting that the coordinated efforts of the MP and MCE have contributed to progress in education, youth empowerment, and community development initiatives across Ablekuma North.

The latest demonstration of their partnership was seen during the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), where the two leaders jointly led a delegation to inspect examination centres within the constituency.

The visit formed part of efforts to monitor the conduct of the examinations, assess preparations at the centres, and encourage candidates sitting for the national exams.

The delegation included the Presiding Member and the Municipal Coordinating Director and was officially received by the Municipal Director of Education, alongside the Public Relations Officer and the Head of Examinations.

During the engagement, education officials briefed the team on the arrangements and measures implemented to ensure a smooth, peaceful, and successful examination process throughout the municipality.

While interacting with candidates, teachers, and invigilators, Ms. Aubynn encouraged students to remain calm, focused, disciplined, and confident as they write their examinations.

She also praised teachers, supervisors, and examination officials for their commitment and professionalism in managing the examination process effectively.

The MP reaffirmed her dedication to improving education within Ablekuma North, emphasising that investment in children and young people remains essential to the long-term growth and development of the constituency.

Residents say the visible unity between the MP and the MCE during public engagements demonstrates a shared commitment to development, effective governance, and service delivery.

Observers within the municipality believe the close working relationship between the two leaders has improved coordination between local authorities, strengthened public trust, and accelerated development initiatives in the area.

Many residents have therefore expressed optimism that the continued collaboration between the constituency’s political and administrative leadership will deliver lasting social and economic benefits for the people of Ablekuma North.
