VIP Jeoun Transport increases fares nationwide effective April 8

VIP Jeoun Transport has announced an upward revision of transport fares across its nationwide routes, effective Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The fare adjustments apply to both its standard tour and executive coach services, covering major intercity routes from Accra to key destinations across the country.
Under the new pricing structure, passengers using standard services will pay:
- Accra to Kumasi: GH¢120
- Accra to Sunyani: GH¢170
- Accra to Tamale: GH¢290
- Accra to Bolgatanga: GH¢330
- Accra to Wa: GH¢320
Executive coach fares have also increased:
- Accra to Kumasi: GH¢150
- Accra to Sunyani: GH¢200
- Accra to Tamale: GH¢360
- Accra to Navrongo: GH¢420
- Accra to Bawku: GH¢430
The company also revised intercity fares from Kumasi, including GH¢210 for Kumasi to Tamale and GH¢250 for Kumasi to Bolgatanga.
Management cited rising operational costs, including fuel, vehicle maintenance, and logistics, as the primary reasons for the fare adjustments. VIP Jeoun Transport emphasized that the fare review is necessary to maintain service quality and ensure safe and timely operations across its network.
The company assured passengers that the revised fares have been carefully evaluated and approved internally, and that all operational routes will implement the new pricing uniformly starting April 8.
Passengers are encouraged to plan their trips and purchase tickets in advance to accommodate the new fare structure.
