The 2026 Gomoa Easter Carnival 2026 roared to life on Thursday night with a massive turnout at the Crown Forest Resort, where revellers gathered for an unforgettable Bonfire Night to officially kick off the festivities. The high-energy opening set the tone for what is expected to be one of the biggest Easter celebrations in the region.
Thousands turned up for the opening event, which featured a lively torchlight procession and an electric atmosphere fueled by vibrant music from the Kwan Pa Band. The combination of music, fire-lit ambiance, and crowd excitement created a unique and immersive experience for attendees.

Later in the day, the spotlight moves to the Gomoa Ekwamkrom Community Park, where some of Ghana’s celebrated music icons are set to thrill fans with live performances. These include Kofi Nti, Samini, KK Fosu, Ofori Amponsah, Dada Hafco, and others such as Bless, Biss, and Kwanpa, all expected to deliver electrifying performances.
Organisers are urging the public to troop to Gomoa in their numbers to be part of the ongoing celebration, which continues to highlight the area’s cultural richness while creating opportunities for entertainment, tourism, and local economic growth.
The festival, powered by Joy Entertainment, will run through April 5, with more exciting events, performances, and cultural showcases expected in the coming days as the Gomoa Easter Carnival continues to build momentum.
