STC’s New Buses Arrive as Supporter Hails Mahama’s Development Agenda
The arrival of new buses for the State Transport Company (STC) has been welcomed as a sign of renewed hope and progress under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.
In a political statement celebrating the development, the author praised President Mahama’s leadership, describing him as a leader whose personal appeal transcends political differences.
“There is a special grace of God upon President John Dramani Mahama that makes it difficult to hate him, even when you disagree with him politically. May such grace locate us all,” the statement said.
The author said ordinary Ghanaians were beginning to feel a renewed sense of hope, highlighting the aspirations of traders, farmers, teachers, drivers, market women and young graduates.
According to the statement, many citizens want a country where the cost of living is manageable, jobs are available and hard work provides a decent livelihood.
The author also referenced the economic hardships experienced under the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, arguing that the country must learn from the past and remain mindful of its future.
The statement called for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be given the opportunity to continue implementing its development agenda for as long as voters freely renew its mandate through elections.
It added that such continuity would provide greater expression to the vision and legacy of the author’s political progenitor, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
The author stressed that Ghana’s progress should not be measured solely through political party affiliations, but by the impact of government policies on the lives of ordinary citizens.
“Ghana must work for the people, and the people must feel the change in their everyday lives. Ghana is rising again!” the statement concluded.
