HON. ALHAJI LAWYER SHAIBU MAHAMA OBEI VISITS FIRE VICTIMS IN SINGA.
The Member of Parliament for Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency Hon. Alhaji Lawyer Shaibu Mahama Obei has today the 20th of March, 2026 visited fire victims at Singa to sympathize with them and also donated an amount of Ghc10,000.00 to the victims to help them resettle as they recover from the traumatized effect of the fire outbreak.
It would be recalled that bags of cement, roofing sheets, cash amount and other valuable were donated to the victims last week after a general fundraising was carried out from the leadership of NDC in Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency which saw many people from different political backgrounds donate to support victims of the fire outbreak.
At the time of the fundraising, Hon. Shaibu Mahama Obei was out of the country, upon his arrival at the constituency today, he made it a point to visit Singa in order to sympathize with the victims and also make his donation to them.
In a short speech, he thanked the people of Singa for acting promptly to prevent the fire outbreak from escalating, and also the support that was extended to the victims in rebuilding their homes.
He noted that disaster against one person is a disaster against all, and that is a symbol of unity which he strongly encouraged.
The donated amount of Ghc10,000.00 from Hon. Obei was handed over to the leadership of the community as his support to the fire outbreak victims.
Accompanying Hon. Alhaji Lawyer Shaibu Mahama Obei is the Constituency Chairman Hon. Salifu Gbepo, other constituency executives and party stalwarts.
