Michael Tetteh has pledged to establish an ultra-modern office complex for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) within the Accra Central enclave, outlining plans for a facility that would support party administration, education and skills development.
Tetteh is recognised by party supporters for his generosity and contributions to the NDC. He is said to have previously paid rent for the party’s former regional office near Paloma Hotel at Circle.
He is also credited with purchasing the plastic chairs at the party’s current regional office, according to the announcement of his latest pledge.
The planned office complex is expected to feature facilities and departments aimed at supporting party activities while promoting empowerment and capacity-building among women and young people.
The proposed facilities include:
A large auditorium for lectures, meetings and other party programmes.
A Women’s Empowerment Department focused on developing and supporting women entrepreneurs.
A Youth Development Department to provide training and skills development in areas such as driving, information and communications technology (ICT), and other business-related fields.
A chapter of the NDC School of Governance, where participants would undergo training and receive certificates upon completion.
The proposed complex is intended to serve as a centre for party organisation, education and empowerment, with a focus on expanding opportunities for women and young people.
The pledge adds to Tetteh’s reported contributions to the party’s infrastructure and operations. However, details regarding the project’s budget, construction timeline, land arrangements and implementation plans have not been provided.
Further information is expected to clarify when the proposed complex will be developed and how its planned programmes will be delivered.
