Health Ministry opens recruitment portal for 36th batch of medical officers and dentists

The Ministry of Health has announced that its recruitment portal will open on Tuesday, October 27, for qualified medical officers and dentists from the 36th batch who have completed their housemanship and received verification from the Medical and Dental Council.

According to a notice issued by the Ministry on October 25, the recruitment exercise is aimed at filling staffing gaps in health facilities across the country.

The online application portal is scheduled to open at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, with eligible applicants required to submit their applications by Thursday, October 29.

The Ministry said the recruitment exercise is specifically for members of the 36th batch of medical officers and dentists who have completed their house jobs and been verified by the Medical and Dental Council.

Qualified applicants are required to apply through the Ministry’s online recruitment platform and follow the prescribed instructions to complete the process.

The notice directed applicants to visit mohrecruitment.com to submit their details and select their preferred districts and agencies for possible placement.

“Qualified applicants are requested to formally apply on the Ministry of Health online application portal by logging on to https://mohrecruitment.com and following the instructions to select their preferred districts and agencies,” the statement said.

Applicants have been advised to ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements and complete their submissions within the specified application period.

The Ministry of Health has cautioned prospective applicants against individuals who may attempt to exploit the recruitment exercise by promising to secure placements in exchange for money.

It stressed that the recruitment process would be transparent and urged applicants not to make payments to anyone in connection with their applications.

“Kindly be informed that the recruitment process remains transparent,” the notice stated.

The Ministry added: “The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process.”

The warning is intended to protect applicants from potential fraud as eligible medical officers and dentists seek employment opportunities within Ghana’s health sector.

The Ministry has encouraged qualified candidates to use only the official recruitment portal and follow the stated application procedures.
