DVLA to commission new Ultra Centres in Konongo, Ada

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is set to commission new Ultra Centre facilities in Konongo and Ada as part of efforts to expand access to driver and vehicle licensing services across the two areas and their surrounding communities.

The facilities form part of the Authority’s nationwide expansion programme, which seeks to improve public service delivery by bringing essential licensing services closer to residents.

The initiative is also expected to ease congestion at existing DVLA offices, reduce reliance on intermediaries popularly known as “Goro boys” and support the modernisation of the Authority’s service infrastructure.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the DVLA announced that the Konongo Ultra Centre would be officially commissioned on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

The new facility is expected to improve access to driver and vehicle licensing services for residents of Konongo and nearby communities.

The Authority has also scheduled the commissioning of the Ada Ultra Centre for Friday, November 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.

The two facilities are part of the DVLA’s broader efforts to decentralise its operations, improve customer experience and make licensing services more accessible to the public.

Their opening is expected to provide residents with additional service points while helping reduce pressure on existing offices.
